Pretty Boys Series

A series of portraits in which I explore the femininity within men. I worked with three of my straight, cis male friends and applied light makeup and gave them feminine jewelry of their choice. We worked together to explore themes of masculinity while still embracing feminine elements of life they they could appreciate. This project was an attempt to shatter gendered expectations in society through the mere act of appreciating various parts of one’s style and remaining true to the innermost parts of oneself (2021).
